Yes it’s our 1st blog-anniversary otherwise known as a blogiversary!
We can hardly believe it – we’ve been blogging about Northern things close to our heart for one whole year!
One of the very first places we reviewed was The Curing House. We were invited to a bloggers event there and ever since that very first visit we have grown to love the place. Anytime we have an opportunity to eat out it’s now one of our favourite go to eateries. Everything about it screams perfection. They are so passionate about what they do.
They feel a lot like us about where we live and work .. and eat!
We have introduced so many of our friends and family to this small but perfectly formed family run charcuterie restaurant.
You can read our original review here.
The owners, Peter and Sarah have very kindly provided us with a fabulous foodie prize to help us celebrate our first blogiversary.
The Prize …
Aberdeen Angus steaks aged for 42 days – 21 in a Himalayan Salt chamber to intensify the flavour. The steaks for this competition are Sirloin and come with their famous (and may we add gorgeous) beef dripping chips, salad and sauce. They’ve also thrown in a bottle of house wine.
